GL72650 is the Global Light field-replaceable 2 LINE LCD DISPLAY for M06036B001, main money/volume LCD used on Gilbarco Encore dispensers. It’s a two-line numeric display (12-digit style) that shows sale total and volume behind the front fascia.  This display work with Gilbarco M05835A004 Door Node 4 electronics (PCA) used in Encore cabinets, control/logic board the front-door displays plug into.

For the Gilbarco Encore LCD (M06036B001): LED/backlight wear (or aging inverter on older stock), thermal cycling that dries electrolytics on the small power section, and moisture/condensation that corrodes the 100-pin connector—resulting in dim or missing digits.

Swap Encore 500/500S main LCD display M06036B001 when the money/volume readout is dim, uneven, missing segments/lines, flickering, or blank (especially in daylight). Replace M05835A004 when the display stays dark despite a good LCD, when you see intermittent/garbled digits from the node.
