​The GL5863-KIT Gilbarco Encore® door gasket kit from Global Light is a replacement fuel dispenser door seal kit designed for Gilbarco Encore® 500 and 700 S models. The kit includes both required flexible bulb-style door gaskets:

Q12406-18 Gilbarco Encore® short door gasket (35.6″ / 910 mm) GL5863-S
Q12406-19 Gilbarco Encore® long door gasket (85″ / 2110 mm) GL5863-L

These gaskets seal the dispenser door area and help protect internal components from moisture, dust, dirt, fuel vapors, and outdoor contamination. The bulb-style profile compresses when the dispenser door is closed, helping create a tighter seal between the door and frame.

Global Light door seals and gaskets are manufactured with components resistant to high and low operating temperatures, temperature cycling, fuel vapors, chemicals, UV exposure, and demanding forecourt conditions. This helps the gaskets withstand daily outdoor service and maintain flexibility for reliable sealing performance.

Door gaskets often fail due to aging, compression set, sun exposure, temperature changes, and contact with fuel vapors or cleaning chemicals. Once the gasket becomes cracked, flattened, brittle, loose, or torn, it can no longer seal the dispenser door correctly.

Global Light recommends replacing both the short and long Gilbarco Encore® S gaskets at the same time. Replacing only one gasket may leave an old, hardened, or flattened gasket on another section of the door, reducing sealing performance and shortening the service life of the repair.
