The part is designed to cover and protect the meter cylinder end area, helping restore proper mechanical condition during iMeter service, rebuild, or aggressive fuel maintenance.

Also known as a Wayne iMeter end cap, meter cylinder cover, stamped metal piston end cap, or metal plate cover for Wayne iMeter, this component is commonly replaced when the original cover is corroded, bent, damaged, worn, or removed during meter repair.

The 006-038765 metal plate cover is supplied as a set of 4, making it suitable for complete meter service where all cylinder cover positions should be inspected and refreshed at the same time.
