​The Q12406-18 Gilbarco Encore® short door gasket is a replacement flexible bulb-style dispenser door seal for Gilbarco Encore® 500 and 700 S models. It is used on the dispenser door area to help seal the cabinet against moisture, dust, dirt, fuel vapors, and outdoor contamination.

The term “with bulb” refers to the rounded compressible sealing profile of the gasket. When the door closes, the bulb section compresses against the frame and helps create a reliable seal.

Global Light door gaskets are manufactured with components resistant to high and low operating temperatures, temperature cycling, fuel vapors, chemicals, UV exposure, and regular dispenser service conditions. This helps maintain flexibility and sealing performance in demanding fuel station environments.

The short Gilbarco pump gasket (35.6″ / 910 mm) should be inspected whenever the dispenser door is opened for service. Replace it if it is cracked, flattened, brittle, loose, torn, sticky, or no longer compresses correctly.

For best sealing performance, Global Light recommends replacing the Gilbarco Encore® 500 / 700 S Q12406-18 short gasket together with the door rubber Q12406-19 long gasket (85″ / 2110 mm) GL5863-L. Both parts are available together in the Q12406-18 / Q12406-19 Gilbarco Encore® Door Gasket Kit, GL5863-KIT.
